"Water, Plants and Fish?" Plus Much Much More! It is Not Just Another Aquaponic's Gardening Blog! Brought to you by Poetry Writes & Other Stuff from Sinbad the Sailor Man
As I believe I have gotten the Site at Sinbadthesailorman Dot Com under control.
Here
is what the deal was my Hub and site “Sinbad The Sailor Man Dot Com”
was acting up and when I put a ticket in I found out It has been UN
supported for the last Year! But Now what is left of it and still up and
working is at Sinbadthesailorman Dot Info.
I
am currently Rebuilding the PW&OSfStSM Site at a WordPress Themed
Site. It will still be Hosted at Fatcow.com and It will have the
Original Dot Com address Sinbadthesailorman.com.
The Dot Info should be Up but, It may not be Fully Functioning not
even as well as It did Yesterday! And It will decline in functionality
as time goes by. There is nothing I can do about It as of today Its a
third party website builder for Fatcow and It is being phased out! But
like a way Back Site you'll be able to see what It is and was.
This
Post will be a site wide Posting and you will see It at all my sites
and on my FaceBook pages, Twitter.com, and wherever else I can think
about getting It up and then remember to do so.
The New Wordpress Theme is Visible
But
appears nothing like a Wordpress theme and It Won't for a good week and
a half most likely. But the Addresses of both sites are showing up as
Up and they are something and Bits and Pieces of both. They are not
completely restored and the Old Website won't be to my understanding as I
mentioned above here. So this is why I am putting this Info Out too you
all. So you don't think I built a bunch of totally useless crap and
slapped It up trying to make a buck.
Well
I got to Run because I am under the Gun Here and I need to try and save

Hey all! How you Doing ? I am doing okay I guess. I have been busy trying to get funding for our own Aquaponics Green House, Learning Center, and Store. I am busy trying to raise funds to get this thing up and running as well as working to get it supplied and cycling. I have started a project with Kickstarter.com for this purpose of funding the garden and learning center. Here is that link so you can check it out : http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/502642684/aquaponics-green-house-and-learning-center
Kickstarter.com is a crowd source funding group it is really cool I never knew about this type of funding before I seen it on TV of all places a show called Two Broke Girls. I like it its about a rich girl who ends up being broke and meets a girl named max who was dirt poor all her life and their trying to start a cupcake business and their lives as they work at a diner. Well I was board one night and typed kickstarter in and low and behold there was an actual crowd funding place there. So He I am trying to get funding for My Garden and learning center which is kind of an artistic way of growing Food Fish and Veggie together to create hormone free pesticide free, and chemical free fresh organic food. You know the stuff that doesn't give you cancer or diabetes. Stuff that is truly good for you to eat. And stuff that taste like real food use to can you remember those days?
When food was cheap and green and tasted good? I can and I haven't been seeing any for a while now so I want to teach people mostly my children and grand children how to feed themselves and the world around them which they live. We have basically killed the farm lands we have been growing on these last few decade they posses nothing but chemicals this is why we are all overweight and sick in Our Country today another of the Governments big blunders farm control. We should have seen it coming.
And brother It is here today and in full force and growing. I am hell bent on learning to grow our own foods as I have had and do still remember the good green and healthy foods from the recent past say forty years ago when fresh milk was still delivered in glass bottles Farm fresh eggs one or two days old. fresh free range beef pork and chickens. The was and is no comparison to those foods of the past. Image stepping out your back door and clipping off fresh herbs for cooking and/ or fresh flowers for the table.
A small vineyard of green red grapes, picked along with cherries, apples, peaches, pears, and plumbs from your own trees that you feed with the waste water from the Fish you grew in your Aquponics system well this will take a little time fruit is a wonderful thing to have but they require pruning and feeding.
Ever hear the story when you were a kid about the Indians teaching the Pilgrims to grow Maze [corn]?
Well even back then they knew a fish was worth more then the meat off its back. Yep they taught the Pilgrims to bury a fish with every seed of corn and the Pilgrims to this day are eating corn every day and know it not. Fish are a source of natural fertilizer and are healthy when grown correctly with chemicals.
Preservatives and these chemicals are what is killing us off or making us sick for the Pharisaical compies to relieve us of our Money and their illnesses.
Now I am not a Conspiracy theory nut but I am starting to be an of the kind of one as Alex Jones check him out!
I too think that The world is changing because I am a Bible believing kind of nut bag. This stuff is all making more and more sense to me. Cancer, Diabetes, Al-timers, some-Timers you name It people didn't get all this crap as often as they do now why? because they whom ever they are have gotten damn good at their delivery systems. Their transportation systems, advertising systems, and their infrastructures are enormous.
So Grow your own foods and use your own fresh water and fish to grow them with. You won't be sorry that you did.
Well I got to run because I am under the gun.

Recorded on October 28, 2013 using a Flip Video camera. Here is a quick look at what I got built already, but I need to tweak it already.
As it is throwing the smoke back out the feed tube. I think I made the system here to compact. I believe I will have to extend the tank to let the inside riser create a stronger drafting effect.
I'll get to it as soon as I get some other stuff done for my cousin since I am using his equipment and scrap I guess that is only fair. Once I get It working correctly I'll do some grinding and painting on It.
I am creating videos for those who are interested in Sustainable Living, Alternative gardening, Organic foods,Growing their own fish, and much more.
I belong to several like minded Meetups and I am trying to start and run one of my own called "Living & Growing for Our Tomorrows, Sustainable Healthy Foods" You can the link for It in past post and I will be putting a direct link here soon in the side bar.
I am still trying to wind down from the season of Well Service work and looking to creep into some Gardening and some more experimenting with gizmos and gadgets such as these Rocket Stoves and Gassifiers. Until next Time Angels.
Somebody Come and Play Today! Earn as You Learn, Grow as You Go!
Hey all! How have you been? Me I am still Busy, busy, busy. Going a hundred miles an hour and only getting ten feet up the road on a full tank.
I have started a Meet Up Group to try and get others interested in Our Aquaponics Garden build. Here in Indiana. The Site is Located in Hebron and is a private Home owners Lot. Which I am currently building our first Test run of the Aquponics System.
We both have had gardens in the past and a Traditional Garden is so much more work and the pay off is a hit or miss for most of us backyard Gardeners. The Weather, the Time, The effort, and the Labor is some times to demanding for us. With the Weeds, the Birds, the Rodents, and the Bugs not to mention the possibility of disease.
I have set two Meet Ups already in the first month of starting the Group and so far Only I and my Sponsor have showed up. I know it will take some Time it always does. To build a following let alone a tight knit Group dedicated to seeing this Venture through.
I know many don't want to do the dirty work that I am currently doing by myself. And getting things ordered up and running is always a drag. But this is where I am at today. Out of Money and lacking time to get everything done. The Season is changing and I am running out of good working weather.
So I am looking for others in the Greater Chicago Land area or even the Tri-State area to Share Ideas with, to teach, and learn from others with. I am sure there are many backyard Gardeners that could teach me many tricks and tips. As I can show them some as well. But I am looking for the new and Organic way of producing Healthy and Nutritional Foods Organically. And on a smaller piece of land or even in Ones own Basements, Back porch, or in their Garages.
Here are some recycled Pressure tanks from the Well Service Company. I help out from time to time to pay for the use of the land I am using to Build this Aquaponics Garden on. I have turned these seven tanks into my Filtration system. I have access to these use tanks from time to to time. I will get a video up as soon as I can. Most likely after I get them installed and working. We are Saving money and being as Green as possible as often as possible.
I have several Blog posts here at this Blog on the Aquaponics Garden Build check them out. I also have a couple of Hubs at Hubpages.com. In the side bar here is a link to my Hubpages Profile. You can scroll through my Hubs there.
Here is a Rocket Heater I am trying to build for the first Time for our Garden's Green house. These are some of the metal tanks we come across and haul away for our customers. We usually just scrap them out but if we can build something worth building we might do it if we can find the time. And it is worth our wild to do.
Hey All, I have created a Meet Up Page or Account in hopes of starting up a group interested in Learning and sharing their Aquaponics secretes with each other. It would be for those of us in the greater Chicago land area mostly but everyone is welcome to join to share and learn of what we have to offer.
So far as of today Oct. 06 2013 we have five members. We have had one Meet up so far and two of us showed and so Its begun. We have a Meetup scheduled for tomorrow Oct 7th at 6:30pm at the Aquaponics Garden build site in Hebron IN. This is short notice I know and I am sorry I will work on getting better. You can go to Meetup.com and search for our group Its called "Living & Growing for Our Tomorrows" Sustainable Healthy Foods. There you will find all of our pictures and past Meetups But we are New less than a month old so far and we are just figuring things out both with Meetup and the Garden too.
I am the organizer so I will be posting here and there as I do with everything I am doing so come and check us out. We are hoping to button up the Green house this month and I have started messing around with a rocket heater just this past Friday I have it roughly figured out and will get pictures and maybe a video soon of It. It is made from two recycled metal pressure tanks and some square tube stock that we had lying around in the scrap pile. I will also start selling some recycled Fiberglass tanks to be used in your own Aquaponics filtering systems or your Pond filtering systems. I'll be placing video here soon of these tanks and how we are using them in our system.
Our system build has fallen way off of schedule as we have been plagued with mechanical breakdowns and many repairs to our vehicles at the Well Service these last few months. Right now our 1,000 gallon holding tank is being used to drill Wells with as our water truck is going under a major brake overhaul. Here is the link to our photo albums at Meetup.com http://www.meetup.com/Living-Growing-for-Our-Tomorrows-Sustainable-Healthly-Foods/photos/
Well I will be getting back here soon with more pictures and hopefully some videos of the rocket heater and the Aquaponics Garden Build @ Sowles Well Service.
I've got to run now because I am under the gun and Time is slipping away.

Recorded on June 4, 2013 using a
Flip Video camera. Hello All I lost about four minutes of this clip
because I trimmed the wrong way. Sorry about that. Yeah I am still
learning to use the FlipCam and It's Simple software.
Hey I
told if I can do It you can too. I am No rocket Scientist thats for
sure. But I never claimed to be. I will need to do some more work on the
sump pit box and I still want to get the other two tanks cut and their
bladders removed and cleaned up and ready.
I will be looking at
some Bulk head fittings that we have here at the house. We got a couple
lots at an Auction a while back and I'll have to see what I can dig out
out the creates that I can make do the job. There is not a lot of
pressure in these systems. Everything can be unglued and hand tight;
well mostly everything.
I got the longer cut offs up to the
Green house and I still need to fit them together as the other cut offs
were just to much to piece together. I was losing my mind trying to
figure it out. So now it is easy three ten foot pieces for each thirty
foot run and two couplings for each pipe. They'll sit nicely on the
cement blocks and it will make it easier to clean out when the time
comes.
As I said this is being done on the fly nightly after
work and I work on It when I can to the beat of a different drummer sort
of speak. As I don't drive I have to work around the boss's schedule.
But
It will get done eventually. The box is just some thing to keep the
dirt out of It. The ground is mostly clay kind of like modeling clay
soft and mold able when wet or moist. Hard as brick when dry. So I will
line the bottom of the pit with patio blocks and cover it with a lid.
This will help keep It cool in summer. Warm in winter and keep debris
from entering the tanks as well.
As I was saying I laid out the
piping for the feed troughs that will be outside this year. If I get them
in time. I don't have a whole of time left to get this part up and
running for this years growing cycle. But if I do run with it. I can
always throw a quick Hoop house up with this cattle panel stuff. Its
fast and easy and very reasonable. But I think I'll use six by six's
instead of the Telephone poles if it come to rushing this Green house
build. They are much lighter and easier to set. But I am cheap so I'll
have to see how fast it needs to be slapped up.
I should just cut
four more telephone poles up shouldn't I, Hum. I might do that and have
them ready or even set them. First I want to see if I can grow
anything. Speaking of I need to start my seeds this week.
I
pressure washed the holding tank and the large fish tank as well I got
the top cut out of the fish tank. I did that with a grinder and a
cutting wheel. It was very easy; messy but easy. I used the dirt from
the sump pit to refill the dirt box and placed the rest in front of the
dirt box so I could climb straight onto It with out a ladder. I'll Land
scape that up some and then I'll get some more dirt from the dirt hills
from the pond. And then I'll do the same with the sump pit on two sides,
the front and the right side or the west side. On the east side is
where the well is and the south side faces the Green house so I'll keep
them level, but I will use only wood chips on the Green house side as
this is where the plumbing will be.
Getting closer YouTube I have
tons to do still, but most of this stuff will go rather quickly once I
get the tanks plumbed. I found my fish for this year. I am not sure if
there Channel cats or Bull heads. But there are three balls in my uncles
pond right now as of today. But if I wait to long the bass will
devourer them before I get them into a tank. And the water is way to
cold for me to brave It. I'll need a John boat or canoe and a net.
There
is usually about hundred Frys in a ball like the ones in the pond, but
as I said you don't have much time to catch them before the bass or some
other fish or bird eat them up.
The pond is all open water no
trees and not many places to hide in for these little guys that's why
they ball up the way they do. Protection!
I have a large fifty
gallon metal trough I could drag it over there and try to snag about
fifty or sixty or even more. And keep them covered at the waters edge.
I'll see. I don't have too much Time on my hands, but we'll see what we
can do.
If their Channels I grow them Out for
eating. If their Bullheads I'll cut them lose in the river or give them
to the neighbor for his pond.
Well I got to run. I need to get
showered and go to bed. Busy day tomorrow if I want to catch some of
those Frys I'll need to be rested.

Flip Video camera. This one is another short one. My batteries were about
drained. I just wanted to show you all I got the major part of the sump pit dug
today. And that I straitened up some.
Well I got to run because I am
under the Gun.
P.S. Sorry the Video stopped suddenly because the Battery
died. I was saying I'll have to take the one thousand gallon tank down and
add some more dirt and then water it down and pack it down into the dirt box. I should
of known better, but I am doing this all on the fly after work And I am
tried after the day is done. Again I'll do better as I get some extra
time. CYA !
Well I finally got it over here for ya's guys. I am stuck for cash right now so I'll need to find some more. I need to order some stuff from off the Web. Mostly uni seals. I'll need to get some treated plywood three 1/2 inch x 8 ft x 4 ft about three sheets; to line the sump pit.
I still need more cement blocks about 12, and some 2x2 patio blocks about 8 to put a floor into the sump pit for the tanks to sit level upon. But I did get most of the grass cut today May30th 2013. And then the mower started to act up. I think we'll need to flush the fuel lines or clean the tanks out even. It's a Big mower a Dixie Chopper a good mower to have for large lawns.
I truly need to get my seeds going too. Maybe I'll get to it this weekend. Sunday maybe. Well I have the advantage of the Ponds water to jump start our system here. But for one guy it is a lot of work to do. Especially when you are disabled somewhat. But I am lucky to have the tools and equipment at my disposal as some of you may not. Hopefully you have a couple of strong backs and a weak mind or two you can tap into. LOL
It shouldn't be long now. I'll get something done here soon, but I am worn out already and I haven't even begun yet. But this I hope is the hardest part of this Aquaponics stuff; the build. I hope anyways. Well I talk at ya's soon.
P.S. I posted these videos first at youtube and leave them there a day or two. So I can search them out and then place them here. Plus it takes these older computers of mine so long to upload videos. I am ready for bed by the time there done. And I have a bad memory as well.

Recorded on May 20, 2013 using a

videos and I lack the editing skills and software to edit this videos,
but I am working on it too. Yea I got out of square a little I was using
a rope and not string so That may of through me off a bit. Funny how
things work my other cousin came by after the Cattle Panel was up today
and Gave me a big spool of string. Well its good cotton string and I'll
use it to tie tomatoes and beans etc. I had to trim three minute off
this video to get it to load from my FlipShare software.
As soon
as I get the uni seals and the NFT Pipes glued to the same length and
all the holes cut I'll put water in the one thousand gallon tank. But
before all that I 'll need to get the six Inch drain install as well as
the sump pit and all the filtering tanks. Well I got to run because I
need to make some more dough.
Recorded on May 20, 2013 using a

videos but I'll keep trying until I am. Here is the 400 gallon Fish
tank and my zone tanks. I am also doing all this on the fly after work
as I don't drive my cousin picks me up and take me home at his
convenience and I don't always have the time to get everything in here
But I will try and update the videos at the Blog later when I get the

filled. We have the Greenhouse rails. Pressure treated 2x6 and 2x4's.
They still need to be installed upon the poles and the end will need to
be temporarily braced until the Hoops are installed.
We are
going to be using Cattle panel fencing to create our Hoops As they are
cheap fast and easy and they appear to be much more sturdier then the
single pole Hooping.
There is a posting here at the Water, Plants, and Fish? Blog Called Greenhouse~ "Homemade with Cattle Panels" : http://waterplantsandfishgrowyourown....

Well Mother Nature Got me again today rain rain go away come again some other day Little Donnie Wants to Play with His Aquaponics Garden. Yeah a I am a little off or out there some times but aren't we all ? You got to live a little.
Well I will get some help tomorrow and we will see about getting the rails up and Maybe get some more bricks and some re-purposed wood for shoring and leveling the beds and NFT Piping. I will also see If I can't get some wire run and buried and A Box to power the Green House Lighting. I will be trying to find 6 mil. Plastic at least 50x25 for this House and If everything goes well and I get some more support and help with this Venture. Then I will invest in a standard Greenhouse cover.
I am still looking for Fish and If I missed out on the seasons offerings. I will go Sane the near by creeks or start off with a ton of cheap gold fish and use them for feeders later. I spotted a metal through over at my uncles. I'll see if I can't talk him out of it for a worm bed to raise some Red Wigglers to eat the algae that will grow in the rock beds [the flood and drain system] part of our build, but I won't need them for several weeks or even a couple of months. Which will give them time to reproduce and get acclimated to the trough. Then I'll see if I can't find some good buckets and try to build a couple of Solider Fly traps also. These both will help fed the fish as they grow and offset the cost of feeding them. as both of these are free and easy to catch and gather quickly out here in the country.
I talked to my cousin also about building an old time Ice House since we have all the available requirements to build one. The dirt mounds and a pond near by. There will be more talk on this later, a combo Root Cellar Ice House would be a nice thing to have if the Grid every did go down fully or for a longer length of time. Or if the prices jump off the scales overnight.
Well I am still a ways away from pluming and turning the water on. But I do want to start my seedlings this coming week. Maybe that will set a fire under my butt, will see. I have got to run. I am way behind posting into my other Blogs, but as I have said before. I do believe this to be a greater priority just now.
Well the grass has been cut and the
yard is dry and I have built the dirt box. Which will raise the one
thousand gallon water tank up to the three foot level at Its bottom and
about eight foot tall at the very tip top of the tank. Which will allow
me to gravity fed the grow beds and everything else below the eight - to
three foot level of this tank.
I wasn't able to get to the
lumber today and I will need to cut the tallest corner pole level with
the top of the dirt box. I will leave the other three to lock the tank
in position when It is empty. It could possibly be knock off the box by
some of these freak winds we have been getting around here as of late.
No worries once It is filled and cycling.
I will put some water in it to check the levelness of It about two inches and if that looks good I filler up.

Aquaponics Greenhouse Build. This box of dirt is a stand for a one
thousand gallon water tank that will supply this green house in case of a

two reasons one to aerate the system and two to keep the one thousand gallon tank filled in case of a power outage. This will be part of a

Well while I am sitting here still waiting on my Videos to load and become available for posting here at Blogger I will go ahead and tell ya all where we're at with the Aquaponics Build. The greenhouse poles are in and ready to be plumbed and packed. I have to get some uni-seals about fifteen to get started. I'll get them Online I think. I will still need to line up Fish, decide on which ones and what size. I still need to start my seedlings going, but I want to make sure I have enough of the system plumed and cycling correctly before I start the seeds to growing. As I am planning to use Pond water to water my starts and jump start the system here. I expect they will have no problem catching up if I can get them in the system by the end of May.
I still have a lot of work to do. Leveling and cutting holes for the NFT system of the Build and I will need to raise the Six foot by 15 inch swimming pools to about 20" inches off the ground. These will be the DWC part of the Build and I need to set and level the Flood and Drain troughs, the Fish tanks, and much, much more. I'll need to find some old planks 1X4x10's most likely to place under my cement blocks to aid in this leveling process as the wood chips are a pain at times to get leveled.
I still need to place a sump pit in which most likely will be a trench. I'll dig it with the Mini-Excavator. Then I'll frame it out with some pressure treated plywood. This trough will be the lowest part of the system and the one thousand gallon tank will be the highest part of the system.
Well I have got to run I need a shower and some time to surf the net and post some twittering.
Ah here we go the Garden thats what
you wanted to see. I have a lot to do when I get some time. I'll be
building a mound of dirt or wood chips supported with cement blocks and a
couple sheets of 3/4 treated plywood top with 2 inch foam sheets which
will hopefully let the tank self level. I am raising the tank so as to
be able to have the ability to make it gravity fed which will limit the
amount of electrical power to push the water around to the tanks and
beds. Well wish us luck this is a big project and it won't take much to
change it over to a commercial or small business Venture if it works
out some of our youth takes an interest in it. TTFN CYA Later Taters!

Here is a Hubpages.com Hub I wrote about this my New Venture or at least my try at It.
I am steadily trying to get this up and running but I can only work on it after work an hour here and there. So I think I got quite a bit done with very little help so far except for some heavy lifting I have done most of what you see so far If I can do It so can you where there is a will there is a way.
P.S. The 4 inch white PVC pipes are call NFT System
Nutrient Film Technique or NFT is a hydroponic
technique wherein a very shallow stream of water containing all the
dissolved nutrients required for plant growth is re-circulated past the
bare roots of plants in a watertight gully, also known as channels.
In
an ideal system, the depth of the recirculating stream should be very
shallow, little more than a film of water, hence the name 'nutrient
film'.
This ensures that the thick root mat, which develops in the
bottom of the channel, has an upper surface, which, although moist, is
in the air. Subsequent to this, an abundant supply of oxygen is provided
to the roots of the plants.
A properly designed NFT system is based on
using the right channel slope, the right flow rate, and the right
channel length. The main advantage of the NFT system over other forms of
hydroponics is that the plant roots are exposed to adequate supplies of
water, oxygen and nutrients.
In all other forms of production, there is
a conflict between the supply of these requirements, since excessive or
deficient amounts of one results in an imbalance of one or both of the
others.
NFT, because of its design, provides a system wherein all three
requirements for healthy plant growth can be met at the same time,
provided that the simple concept of NFT is always remembered and
practiced.
The result of these advantages is that higher yields of
high-quality produce are obtained over an extended period of cropping. A
downside of NFT is that it has very little buffering against
interruptions in the flow, e.g., power outages, but, overall, it is one
of the more productive techniques.
The same design characteristics apply to all conventional NFT
systems. While slopes along channels of 1:100 have been recommended, in
practice it is difficult to build a base for channels that is
sufficiently true to enable nutrient films to flow without ponding in
locally depressed areas.
As a consequence, it is recommended that slopes
of 1:30 to 1:40 be used. This allows for minor irregularities in the
surface, but, even with these slopes, ponding and water logging may
occur. The slope may be provided by the floor, or benches or racks may
hold the channels and provide the required slope.
Both methods are used
and depend on local requirements, often determined by the site and crop
requirements.
As a general guide, flow rates for each gully should be 1 litre per
minute. At planting, rates may be half this, and the upper limit of
2L/min appears about the maximum. Flow rates beyond these extremes are
often associated with nutritional problems.
Depressed growth rates of
many crops have been observed when channels exceed 12 meters in length.
On rapidly growing crops, tests have indicated that, while oxygen levels
remain adequate, nitrogen may be depleted over the length of the gully.
As a consequence, channel length should not exceed 10–15 meters.
In
situations where this is not possible, the reductions in growth can be
eliminated by placing another nutrient feed halfway along the gully and
reducing flow rates to 1L/min through each outlet.[1]

Thanks for watching.
Join me as I travel to Green Acre
Organic where Tonya and Gina have built a fantastically abundant
commercial Aquaponic system. In an Aquaponic system Tilapia are grown in
a closed loop cycle along with plants.
Bacteria break down the
Tilapia's waste into food the plants can eat. This system is totally
safe, water smart, and energy efficient!
Well I am quite a bit away from cycling or even adding the water. Mother Nature is fighting us every step of the way.
We got more rain and a tighter schedule for the coming week. Still working on the Service Truck and cleaning up the property.
So the county can come and do their yearly inspection as we are housing our equipment at home. I think it is just a way to get extra money from us myself.
I did get two larger tanks ready and was lucky as a local gas station needed a new system. And we hauled the old one away.
So that is about all the tanks I can think we will need. Even if we decide to try and go small business or even a commercial garden.
If and/ or when the ground drys out. I will start setting the Telephone poles and framing out the rails for the Cattle Panels to sit upon which will be the top for the Greenhouse.
I am not to worried about Plastic just yet, as the summer air will most likely be here before I am up and cycling.
My Uncle lives right next door and has a small one acre pound.
We might try and catch some Blue Gills, Channel Cats and whatever else that is in there and start our system with them and some of the pond's water to help with getting the nutrients up and running in our system as I am way behind schedule .
Well I placed some of the things that I will need in the Carousals and Ferris wheels from Amazon on the site today and I will place them on my "A" Store page also at my website along with all the others from the other Blogs and from the site Its self.
Well I was going to use the Green Acre's song, but these Ladies bet me to It. Looks like they are making their system work. So If they can do It we should be able to, too right? I hope so!
I got to run because I am under the gun.

Sorry this was a fast video after an
ugly day at work. We lost our engine in the Service Truck and that set
the pace for the rest of the day, Towing Fees, New engine cost, and new
Install kits; Hoses, belts, oils, etc. this stuff ain't cheap and it means someone has to work the weekend...
It is
about 5:00 pm here in this video. It turned out to be a nice day weather wise.
Here is some of the stuff that I have so far
gathered together to make our Aquaponics Garden. I am trying to be as green as possible and as cheap as possible Big family big garden or at least the need is there for one and it should justify It's cost and maintenance fees.
This is our first Aquaponics Garden ever. We are trying this out because
the old style garden was just to rough to maintain by ourselves. And with
our busy schedules. We are forever running kids and chasing jobs.
I will do better as things slow down in the coming weeks. Not that we are wanting them to slow down. But it often does.
Well I said I would get a video up and I have. I am still learning to use this Flip Cam and the little camera I got off of eBay.com
I will do better as things slow down and I get some time to sit and think We were rushing the kids around and we were tired as the day was a rush to catch up for time lost because of the blown engine. Excuses yes I know, but they are valid ones.
I am hoping the weather stays nice and drys the ground out. I am not sure if you can see and hear how wet it still is here in IN. but I will work on this Aquaponic System every chance I get these next few weeks.
As we have to get the yard straighten out any way and the boss wants to get the camper set up and the Barn floor poured and the insulation done and tons of other stuff.
I am wanting to focus on the Aquaponics garden and I am hoping as It gets set up and running that the rest of the gang will get a notion or take an interest in It too.
